Girl Scout Troop 2508
Hi, I am Mele Buice. I have loved every part of Girl Scouts since I joined Brownies in first grade. I am so appreciative of the growth, opportunities, and sisterhood I have experienced throughout my time in Girl Scouts. I am now 17 and in 12th grade at Packer Collegiate Institute, and outside of Girl Scouts, I love to dance and explore the city with my friends.
My name is Sydney Green, I am a senior, and I’ve been in troop 2508 since first grade! Girl Scouts has provided me with a creative and social outlet like no other and is the reason I’ve been able to make some of my most treasured memories. I play volleyball, enjoy photography, and I am interested in attending law school after college.
Hi, my name is Annabel Kim. I am currently in 12th grade, and I have been in Girl Scouts for the past 12 years! Girl Scouts has been incredibly impactful for me; it has given me a place to grow as a leader, friend, daughter, and member of society. I feel incredibly grateful to have been given the opportunity to create meaningful friendships, mentor young at-risk girls, and co-lead my younger sister’s troop. Outside of Girl Scouts, I feel incredibly passionate about cooking and the fashion industry.
Hello, I am Carly Mraz. I am a senior at the Packer Collegiate Institute, and I have been a Girl Scout since first grade. Girl Scouts is where I made some of my very first friends and discovered my first interests and hobbies. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, playing soccer, reading mysteries, and baking with my friends. Academically, I am passionate about marine biology, environmental science, and public policy, and I cannot wait to further explore these subjects in college.
My name is Maddy, and I have been a Girl Scout since our troop formed in 1st grade and I am currently an Ambassador. Girl Scouts has helped me push past my comfort zone and find my strengths and as a result I have enjoyed being a member of Cookie Executive Committee and I was honored to be a Future WOD finalist. My favorite cookie is Samoas. Outside of school I enjoy playing volleyball and tennis. In college I will study business and finance.
Hi, I am Jordana Sampson, I am a high school senior, and have been a girl scout for 12 years. Being in Girls Scouts has taught me how to be a leader, the importance of friendship, and so many other great lessons and qualities. Girl Scouts has allowed me to step out of my comfort zone so many times, leading to not only my personal growth but creating so many lasting memories. I plan on playing basketball and the saxophone in college, and I intend on going to business school after.
