Gia Peppers is an on-air talent, entertainment journalist, and podcaster who is most known for her work as a contributor on NBC’s primetime morning staple, “Today Show,” her RadioOne program, “More Than That with Gia Peppers,” and as 1/5th of the wildly popular, candid podcast, “Black Girl Pod.”
For the past several years, Peppers has carved out a lane for herself as a credible source at the intersection of pop culture, sports, and spiritual growth. Before her latest projects, she led ground-breaking conversations on VH1’s award-winning series, “Black Girl Beauty,” was the only woman on BET’s “Black Coffee” with Marc Lamont Hill and Jameer Pond, and completed four incredible seasons as the in-arena co-host for her hometown’s NBA franchise team, The Washington Wizards.
In her work and life, she is committed to authentically taking up space, amplifying the voices of Black creators, and reminding her viewers of their innate greatness through original content, inspiring interviews, and more. With a presence as powerful as her real name, she continues to be a leader in media through intentional partnerships with brands like Jordan Brand, Essence Magazine, Facebook, and more.
When she isn’t on camera, Peppers is working hard to build her own budding media empire, with several exciting projects on the way.
